The writing piece that I chose to reflect on was my fiction piece named Challengers. This story was about a boy named Moon and his sister Mai, who were on a quest to save their new home planet, Nuburo, from an evil king named Zed.
I chose this piece because I had a lot of fun with it. It has a good story, it’s long and detailed, and I can really connect to it. I used a lot of skills with this piece; like describing the characters, setting, and events with great detail. I’m also very good at keeping the movie in the readers head and creating a resolution to the problem of the story. I think from last year, I’ve improved greatly on my writing skills.
What I do well is telling stories well with details. I think on what I can improve on is my endings; I always keep on going with the story, or I’ll leave a cliff hanger and then make a sequel and make a sequel to that one and so on.
I love to write and I hope to improve more and more. I should also try to make my non-fiction and non-narratives better. They are definitely not my strong point in writing.
